Marketplace monitoring

Marketplace monitoring and price tracking

New listings from the platforms you watch, filtered by your rules and sent to Telegram seconds after they are posted. You get to the item before the competition does. From $300 for one platform.

The problem it solves

Good offers appear on several platforms at once and are gone within minutes. Refreshing tabs by hand does not keep up, and whoever sees the listing first gets the item.

A monitoring bot does the refreshing for you. It checks the categories you care about around the clock, throws away everything that does not match, and sends the rest straight to your Telegram.

How it works

  1. Parsers

A parser for each platform you choose reads new listings from the sections you point it to.

  2. Filters

Your rules decide what passes: category, price range, condition, keywords.

  3. No duplicates

The same item seen twice, or on two platforms, reaches you once.

  4. Delivery

The full product card arrives in Telegram the moment the listing appears.

Running in production now

  • 10 platforms in one chat

A listings tracker that watches ten regional platforms and delivers everything that matches into a single Telegram chat.

  • Measured, not estimated

One of the running trackers made over 700 successful checks an hour and caught 228 new listings in a single measured day.

What a good filter looks like

The tracker is only as useful as its filter. Too loose, and the chat fills with noise you stop reading. Too tight, and the good listing never arrives.

A working filter usually combines a category, a price ceiling, the condition of the item, keywords that must appear, and words that rule a listing out. For example: one category of electronics, under a set price, used but working, title must contain the model name, nothing marked for parts.

Filters are set up with you before launch and can be tightened or loosened once you see what comes through in the first days.

Who uses it

  • Resellers who buy below market and need to be first to a good listing.
  • Buyers looking for a specific item across several platforms at once.
  • Shops that want to see new competitor offers and prices without checking by hand.

What is included

  • Parsers for the platforms we agree on before the start.
  • Filters set up to your criteria.
  • Deduplication across checks and across platforms.
  • A Telegram bot that sends the product cards.
  • The server side, so it runs around the clock, with full access handed over at launch.

Platforms change. The tracker has to follow.

Marketplaces change their pages, and a parser that worked yesterday can stop today. That is why monitoring is usually kept on a monthly arrangement after launch: when a platform changes, the parser is adapted, and alerts about failures reach me before you notice the silence.

Questions about monitoring

Which platforms can you watch?

The ones you name. The list of platforms and sections is agreed before the start, and the price depends on how many there are.

How fast do listings arrive?

Seconds after they are posted. The tracker checks continuously, so a new listing reaches your chat while it is still fresh.

Can it track prices, not only new listings?

Yes. Price ranges are part of the filters, and watching price changes on items works the same way. It is set up as part of the agreed filters.

What happens when a site changes?

The parser for that site has to be adapted. Fixes for bugs in my own code are included; adapting to changes on outside platforms is kept on a monthly arrangement.

How much does monitoring cost?

Monitoring one platform starts at $300. Each additional platform adds its own parser, so the price grows with the list. It is fixed before work starts.
